This is just going down the drain....

Ugh great here's the very sad story of my diet today

Breakfast

  • Omelette--1 egg, tofu, string beans, brocolli, goat cheese
  • 2 pieces of apricot walnut bread
  • 1 cup of coffee
  • 10:00 am
Snack and Lunch
  • 1 stone ground wheat cracker with natural honey and organic peanut butter
  • 1/4 glass of raw milk with raw honey
  • 1 bowl of lentil, carrot, celery, and onion soup with lime 
  • 3:35 pm ish

Not a Great Start

I'm wondering if I should start a point system and actually make up a diet. I don't like calorie counting, because nutritional value is often more important to health.

Breakfast (10:15 am ish)

  • Cup of coffee with organic 2% milk
  • Large bowl of oatmeal with raisins, honey, and organic 2% milk
Lunch (12:50 and 1:45 ish respectively)
  • 9 Costco Mozzarella and Spinach ravioli for a "snack" (I'm sooo bad)
  • 2 pieces of quiche (spinach, cream cheese, eggs, onions, and mushroom with no crust)
Supper (4:45 ish)
  • Small bowl of lentil soup with carrots
Late Night (11:00 pm ish)
  • Bowl of osh soup (wheat noodles, beets, onions, dill weed, carrots, etc)
  • 1 grapefruit
Now I see a couple of problems already. 
a) Lack of water and juice
b) Lack of fruits and vegetables
c) Uneven eating times

These need to be corrected.

More water and Nightmares

I had an interesting dream where my dad and I were floating way above the drop of a cliff. My mom, sister, Pattie Holter and her made up two daughters were on the cliff searching for berries. Pattie stepped in some kind of nest and remarked "ugh, that smells terrible!". Unfortunately she released a swarm of dark, little black dots that were very hard to squish. They attacked my arm and began to bite and burrow very grossly. I was holding my dad's hand but gasped "Dad, sorry, I have to let go to get these out of my skin" as he said "oh, sorry". He let go and I pulled them out one by one. They were like rocks, so very difficult to squish. When squished, they continued to burrow and left spines in my flesh. I came back with an arm full of nasty bites, and Pattie's daughter was 'jealous'. Then I woke up and went back to a dream where I flew all over the world and escaped the destruction of a Barats and Bereta building.

Today I drank a lot more water, but I made a terrible mistake. I woke up at 9:30 and literally consumed nothing for about 1.5 hours. It's terrible to skip breakfast.

Brunch

  • Beyond Bread sandwich (wheat bread, tomato, roast beef, swiss cheese, lettuce)
  • Tiny little sample of "orange snail" pastry before sandwich to quell stomach cramps
  • 10:45 am ish
Dinner
  • Very small chunk of vanilla custard cake with small bit of icing (grabbed with fingers, not even a slice) STILL BAD
  • Two small bowls of Osh soup (lentils, onions, garlic, wheat noodles, beets, chicken broth)
Late Night Snack (this category should be deleted ASAP)
  • Small PB&J with palm sized circular flat bread, organic peanut butter, and very very minimal amounts of cherry, raspberry, and blood orange jam
That should be it for today! NO COFFEE! Hopefully I will have a healthier three meals tomorrow.

Do you REALLY care? NO!

Welcome to my personal little blog about attempting to lose some weight and gain some muscle over this darn beauty here *pats body* mhmm. That's right. You should probably leave now before I embarrass myself further.

Here I'm going to try to track what I eat and how much I move around. I haven't started any kind of diet, but here are my goals:

1. Lose 15 - 25 lbs
2. Lose lovehandles
3. Gain some muscle mass

Alright, so let's run through what I ate today from memory:

Breakfast

  • One bowl of oatmeal with honey and organic 2% milk
  • Cup of coffee with organic 2% milk only
  • 9:45 am
  • 1 cup of water
Lunch
  • Approx 15 mozerella and spinach ravioli from Costco frozen bag
  • 12:45 pm ish
Snack
  • Vanilla coffee from Doctor's office with skim milk (2:00 ish)
  • Sample half oatmeal cookie from Costco
  • Sample small cup of chocolate milk from Costco (5:00 pm ish)
Dinner
  • Cut filet mignon sauteed in onions with asian rice and brussels sprouts (6:30 ish)
Wow I just noticed something vital missing from this....WATER! That is going on the number one thing I want to fix right now.

Exercise:

  • 10 minute dog walk at slow pace (doesn't really count)
